#111081 - Enhanced debouncing Responding to: Suresh R's previous message |
Suresh said:
eg : if i set the delay as .5sec or less (BC550 will do its job only for this time) and pressing the switch continuously for 1 sec. will it not cause any abnormality or a repeat in cycle? If very short monoflop pulses are to be selected, then it's better to have two independent time constants, for the debouncing of switch and the performing of trigger puls. Try this circuit:
This circuit produces highly stable pulses in the range of 5msec...10sec. Use a multiturn version for the 2M2 pot, though, and/or put a 100k pot in series to the 2M2 pot, for the fine tuning. Information about debouncing can be found here: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=57836 and here: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=57919 Kai |
