If you are measuring resistance you can choose the test current or the test voltage, but not both.
I think Sures, being new in his job is misstating some things. An ideal switch has maximum voltage and infinite resistance when open and zero voltage and zero resistance when closed. One characteristic of a switch is the max voltage it can handle (make/break), the other characteristic is how much current it can handle when closed. thus a switch has both a voltage and a current rating Erik |
