#164053 - Code::Blocks is a top-notch IDE for Windows Responding to: Jan Waclawek's previous message |
Don't know about any howtos for Code::Blocks, and haven't tried it with this specific compiler.
But I have been using it with several other compilers, and Code::Blocks is a very good IDE well worth investigating. When you install it, it normally tries to scan the computer for installed compilers (it supports a large list of compilers, that it can scan for) and when creating projects it is then possible to specify what compiler to use for the project. If people want to use free software to write Windows applications, then I normally recommend Code::Blocks with wxWidgets as framework and the MinGW port of gcc as compiler. |
