#165964 - Be sure your 8251 is fast enough Responding to: Sergey Meerovich's previous message |
Did you know that ASCII is simply a subset of BINARY? Is it possible you're using the wrong term? An ASCII 'A' is 0x41 or 01000001b. Why would you want to convert it?
How do you interface your 8251 to the 8051? Are you aware that RS232 is simply a signal level specification? There's no higher-level protocol involved. Why are you using the 8251 rather than the internal serial port? RE |
