#166022 - Tested both self-powered and bus-powered
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message

My first design was self-powered, draining no power from USB bus. I changed it to bus-powered and the drained current is below the USB maximums. Either self-powered or bus-powered did not resolve my original problem.
