Hi,
Don't worry about the xtal waveform, probes may influence waveform of hi Z inputs. Check that ALE signal is present and at the right frequency. If this is ok then your oscillator should be fine.
******Try using Flip 2.4.6 I have also had problems with earlier versions of Flip on the AC3.
If you can't find Flip 2.4.6 let me know and I shall e-mail you a copy.

That should fix it.
