#166192 - Since you like AVRFREAKS so much ... Responding to: David Prentice's previous message |
Given that their culture pleases you so much more, why not hang around there, rather than here? There's a different culture here than elsewhere. Clearly you derive some benefit from this venue. I'd suggest you enjoy the benefit that you can derive, and leave the culture alone. If you don't like 8052.COM, then there are plenty of other sites. I have never visited AVRFREAKS, and probably never will, simply because AVR is an ATMEL product. That's my choice. You're free to make your own.
Unfortunately, 8052 has found its way into many textbooks and elementary course curricula. This results in people coming to 8052.COM to get their homework done for them. Sadly, it happens more often than not, that someone foolishly does exactly that. It has become tiresome to see the same queries term after term after term. That's why the "gimme-code" and "looks like homework" criticisms occur as often as they do. If you don't like the culture on 8052.COM, you're welcome to complain in an effort to influence it. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for results, though. RE |
