I don't have time to find the last few instances, but as you well know, I've accused you on more than one occasion of "pimping" for the KEIL folks and denegrating their competitors, particularly SDCC, which appears to be a much more widely useful product. While they (KEIL) have a good product, and while you're fully entitled to your preferences, I doubt your comments have been "fair and balanced", to use the current politically-correct term.
Is it not "fair and balanced" to state that one product produce faster and more compact code than another when it is documented by many?

Please tell us what makes SDCC more 'useful'.

I have no problem with SDCC, except when the fact it is free is stated as it being 'better', which it is not. Were I to produce "one offs" without a budget, I might use SDCC if I did not already have Keil. There is nothing wrong with SDCC, I just disagree with those that state it's 'virtues' which are not there.

Just because you prefer to drive a FORD doesn't imply that Chevrolet or GMC aren't a good alternative.
Since my Ford broke down on a regular bsis, I have driven Chevy or GMC trucks :)
