#166287 - Hoping to get someone relegated? Responding to: Mahesh Joshi's previous message |
I didn't know you had to do a school project and turn in. How do you know which professor to turn in your assignment to? Or are you just following a tradition of having post-grads writing the code that should be turned in?
Wouldn't you say that debugging and intersectioning of a problem into smaller pieces is one of the most valued pieces of knowledge for a developer? How do you train problem solving by getting a solution instead of iteratively refine your code? Do you think your dear Popa should care about optimizations with constants in code space before having spent time making sure that the used variables are always in known states? So a motor mechanic student asks how to figure out a problem with the ignition, and a "helpful" person jumps in and replaces his engine with a brand new one saying: "who cares what problem there was with the school-assigned engine - this one works". Will that help the motor mechanic student fixing his next assignment? Next thing: If dear Popa's professor happens to use Google and manages to match his turned-in project with your code in this post, your dear Popa may suddenly find himself having a long semester, being forbidden to enter the school premises for a semester, or possibly permanently relegated from school. Will that help him getting his grades? |
