I don't like those on-chip watchdogs and Vcc monitors
I have found that chips with plenty/advanced analog have excellent internal puppies, for some chips where the watchdog is "implemented on a digital die" they do suffer. HOWEVER, the main problem with an external watchdog is that every time you stop on a breakpoint the chip resets, making on-chip debugging impossible. Erik |
