#171654 - I have used 1000s and never had a failure. Responding to: Daniel Contarino's previous message |
My question #1 is connected with programming. I have not worked with JTAG. I understood that, for in-circuit programming, using RS-232/JTAG adapter and Silabs flash programming PC software, I can program any of these MCUs, providing adequate connection to the four JTAG pins (and Vcc/Gnd). Is my asumption correct?
yes, if you copy exactly the connections on the devboard. And question #2 is more "subjective" and is related to Silabs products' quality and expected life. What is the general/particular opinion about these MCUs? I have used 1000s and never had a failure. Erik |
