#171922 - Digital grill temperature controller
OK, I am looking to use the 80C52Basic uController to control the operations on a pellet fired bbq grill. The control will need to keep track of the temperature (+/- 10 to 15 degrees F) using an RTD, so it will only be reading resistance of the RTD probe. It will then need to control the movement of an auger system, mainly just simply turn it on an off in a pre-determined timing cycle, it will also need to supply power to an ignitor for a short time to ignite the pellets in a firebox, a fan will be powered from the controller as well but will remain on constantly. Use of a BCD rotary switch will allow modifications to the on/off cycle. I would be very appreciative if anyone has attempted or done something like this. Oh, and I will be using Triacs for the 110VAC outputs
