External RAM of 89S51 is complicated!
If, indeed, you mean 'complicated' as in a load on your brain, you better find something else to do. However if you mean 'complicated', as in extra chips, more wiring, lost port pins etc, there is hope. You already have the link to the "Keil device database" where you will find e.g. the NXP p89c66x and the SILabs f12x/f13x with 8k of "internal external RAM". These chips will make no difference whatsoever in your software, only hardware is affected (simplified) Erik |
