In datasheet isnt specified minimum input voltage in "Absolute Maximum ratings" , but i doubt it can be negative. On other hand 120VAC is far above maximum input voltage , when AC is in positive half period.
So diode against negative voltage and/or additional overvoltage protection (which can protect against negative voltage) are needed. |
