#172863 - One Suggestion
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message
Dear Erik,

Erik Malund said:
I have a very limited run of a product that needs the following:
ISP '51 chip
RS-232 port
RS-485 port
reasonable price (not $295 for the Keil one)

PS similar posted at SILabs forum

Looking at first 3 requirements I can suggest you about NXP's P89c669. It has 2 UARTs. Hence 1 can be used for RS232 & other for RS485 (with SN75176 or similar).

Dont think it is costlier too, even if you wanna develope your PCB.

Regards,
Mahesh
