If, out of historical interest, you do want to eventually use this museum piece, then I think it would really be better to spend time learning about microcontrollers and digital electronics first. You will certainly need these skills to be able to make use of this chip - assuming that it actually works at all... I would suggest that you start with one of the modern development kits from, say, Silicon Labs - which give you complete, ready-to-go hardware and specific software support. http://www.silabs.com/products/...Tools.aspx These can be programmed with a simple USB connection to your PC (some others via RS232). |
