#185047 - reliability of P89V51Rx2 autobaud
Responding to: Steve M. Taylor's previous message
Do you know this? (I know it's a self-plug, but can't help myself - I am SOOO GOOD ;-) )

Try playing with the "negative pulse length error [us]" (into both polarities) to see what is the probability that the baudrate will fall into the column which has unacceptable error. This depends on your hardware (error in the PC-side stuff, cabling, RS232 transceivers' asymmetry).
