#185972 - Learing SiLabs C8051020 - HLL steping?
Responding to: Robert Bowen's previous message
Robert Bowen said:

Single-Stepping through the C-Source in SiLabs seems a little flakey to say the works, it doesn't. It's slow. It's confused.

I'd suggest you grab a Toolstick + Daughter board for something like their C8015F58x series, and try that. ( 99% of your learning will still be valid )

It's been a VERY long time since I looked at the old C8051F020, but the F58x works HLL stepping, without any real issues over the C2 debug interface, of a toolstick.
