#187505 - Re:some or all
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message
All the data that is created by recording the input on port1, needs to be stored in non-volatile memory. As I know it, non-volatile memory is memory that remains stored even after power is shut off.

Essentialy we just need the exact same chip(AT89s51), but with more ports so we can hook up an external memory that is non-volatile

or

Same chip(AT89s51) but with non-volatile memory on the chip.

is there a chip that is very similar to the AT89s51 but with either of these two things(more ports or on chip NVM?
