#187735 - simulation will not tell you ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I am looking for a circuit simulation software, so that I can make a circuit using ds89c430 microcontroller, simulate/check and then purchase the parts and make a kit.

simulation will not tell you which parts to purchase.

simulating run of code is just about as good as simulating sex, the posts "it works in the simulator, not on my board" are legio.

why not make the board and debug live.

PS why not use a SILabs chip instead and get REAL live debug using breakpoints instead of printf and such?

PPS simulation is quite OK for e.g. algorithms, but when it comes to I/O it falls short
