#188434 - makes sense
Responding to: Andrew Murton's previous message
My recollection was that it affected the order the modules were fitted together by the linker and this made actual file compare pointless. I found it interesting but wasn't allowed to spend much time on it. I think I found that jump instruction types were sometimes different but it was a long time ago and even then I think Intel wasn't supporting it.
this makes total sense if the PLM51 makes AJMP/LJMP decisions. A different "order the modules were fitted together" would, most likely change the use of AJMP vs LJMP in some places.
