#188637 - Be Happy
Responding to: ???'s previous message
If you are looking for parts to repair existing units or to permit continued production using the same circuit and board designs then I think you should be ultimately happy that the parts are still available for purchase.

If it comes down to cost factors to reduce the BOM cost of your unit then you should be looking at a board spin to accommodate parts that are more modern. Doing that will very highly likely lead to discovery of other parts of the design that can be revised as well for additional cost savings.

As I said, be happy. There are many folks that are not so fortunate and are forced to do board spins on short high pressure schedules because a portion of their BOM has gone EOL.
