#189036 - Silabs C8051F300
Are there are any gotchas anyone can point out with this chip ? I have spent Christmas largely swearing at the Silabs so called debugger and Keil C. I have a very simple program which is supposed to run fairly slow 8bit PWM off the PCA, clocked by Timer 0, in mode 2, and supervised by a timer based interrupt in timer 1, which is just running in 16bit timer mode. The debuggers shows the timers are both allegedly running, I have IT0 and EA set, but I don't appear to get interrupts.

If I set TF1 in code, the interrupt fires. Is this where there's something weird in one of Erik's famous deviates ?

The code is for a light dimmer. One press turns the light on, a long press cycles the brightness up and down. Dead easy, 10 minute job.....

Oh yeah, and this is the first time I've ever written C on a 8052. Be gentle.
