#190105 - I'm using the SiLabs IDE Suite
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message
Erik. It doesn't have line numbers implicit in the source code window, yet happily refers to line numbers in its references. That's pretty frustrating. The disassembler window just uses raw addresses - that's not what I would call a 'source-level' debugger. Probably easier if you use C most of the time and don't much care for the individual instructions, but it really isn't in ASM. I've been using an excellent 25-year-old IDE and it gives me far more capability than this one. Unless I'm doing something very wrong, I won't be using it.

The Keil, on the other hand seems to have most of the capability I need, but the learning curve is really frustrating me.

Dave
