Hello Jan,

Also worthy of note is their 'configurable logic blocks' feature - looks almost like some kind of SPLD(s) tacked on in there.. :-)

I've seen configurable logic hardware in Microchip PIC controllers previously, but this might be a first for an 8051/2? EDIT: No, it seems their busy bee series has it as well.
