Dear Sri Harsha,
It would be better if you stop using these 82c55 IC's which are going out of the market.Instead of this U can use octal D LATCH such as 74LS273. PIN 11 of this IC can be used for selecting this IC ( i.e. clock). PIN 1 of this ic can be connected to /reset. If u still want to continue with the same ic, then u can opt for OKI make which u can get in many parts of India such as BANgalore, Mumbai and Chennai. It would be better if u use microprocessor supervisory IC such as MAX691CPE ( WHICH GENERATES BOTH RESET AND /RESET) in your design. the cost of this ic is appox. $2 U May visit following site FOR KNOWING ABOUT THE SUPERVISORY IC: www.maxim-ic.com Regards, Venkatesh Kamath |
