then better stick to dos. if only yuor application is running there is no point is using multiuser OS just for GUI. Windows Like GUI can be generated even in Dos. also may Extention to DOS like EXTDOS, DOS32, DOS4GW, which will provide you flat full extended memory space in dos with 32 bit code running.
