#68023 - RE: ULN2803 Output droping at 3KHz.
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message
The motor drives have 9 Pin D type male connectors so I am using a approx 2-3 feets long with 2 D type connectors at its ends. The cable is same as the one used with modems connected to serial port of PC. The pinouts of drive signals are as follows.
Pin no 1…. Clock+
2…. Direction +
3…. Start +
4…. Not assigned
5…. Clock -
6…. Reserved (12 V+)
7…. Direction -
8…. Start -
9…. Reserved (0V)
Connecting to NPN sinking signals
Pin no 1/9 Clock + Hardwired to 5V
Pin no 2/9 Direction + HardWired to 5V
Pin no 3/9 Start + HardWired to 5V
Pin no 5/9 Clock - Connected to Out1 of ULN2803
Pin no 7/9 Direction - Connected to Out2 of ULN2803
Pin no 8/9 Start - Connected to Out3 of ULN2803.
