#96743 - Is isolation necessary?
Responding to: Juan Arredondo's previous message
With careful work it is possible to arrange to connect the brass coupler to the GND of your system in such manner that the cathode of the sense diode is connected directly to the coupler. This permits the diode lead to carry the temperature of the coupler part directly into the diode chip.
