The gain of the circuit is too high, if you probe with your oscilloscope at the following points, you will see what I mean. Look at the U1 output what is the amplitude of the 40 kHz signal and the noise signal? Look at the U4 output, what is the amplitude of the 40 kHz signal and the noise signal? Look at the U2 output, what is the amplitude of the 40 kHz signal and the noise signal? Your output signal at each stage should not be clipped. if it is then you must back off on the gain at that stage. Jacob |
