#100080 - Relays
Responding to: Andy Neil's previous message

Andy Neil said:

So what's non-ideal about a relay?

Only issue is contacts in relays, as you guys are experts and must know that when you supply a product to customer, the customer expects first thing to go wrong atleast after 2 years, yes exceptions are there, but still everyone wants a machine that runs and runs, I very well understand that it is only possible in a fairy world. But you can only do your part as manufacturer. That was the only reason I was looking into Triac, but I persume now that relaibility of relays is much higher than Triacs.
