#101522 - Efficiency?
Responding to: James Hinnant's previous message
High voltage DC distribution is being considered again, because it can be more efficient than AC distribution. It's all down to the available technology, which has come on a long way since Edison and Tesla.

After having worked on a relay arcing problem recently, I'm now 100% clear on why relays have higher AC contact rating compared to their DC contact ratings.
