#102361 - Why the use of a microcontroller?
Responding to: Patrick De Groote's previous message
The remote/receiver unit is a standard rc unit, such as those used in rc airplanes sold at www.towerhobbies.com.

The signals comming out of the receiver are signals that only standard servo motors can make use of without the help of a microcontroller.

No servos were used in this machine, high power servos required for this project would be much too expensive.

I will put more details on this issue on the web page latter on.
