#104513 - motor drives
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message
Erik: I would add if you intend to run the motor more than 20% above rated frequency or intend to take rated power from it and want reasonably reliability all simple induction motors will run from a suitable inverter but not all will work well.

Device ratings is somewhat:) affected by supply voltage. a 240 volt supplied inverter would survive better than a 600 v supplied inverter with 1400v rated devices Terry
