#107031 - Solved!
Responding to: Andy Neil's previous message
A very nice lady on the Sourceforge forum has given the answer!

In the .DFM file (the Borland "source" file that defines the Form), I had to move all the TApdComPort objects to come before all the TApdDataPacket objects.

In fact, I moved all the TApdComPort objects to come before everything else on the form - just to be sure!

I think this must count as a bug?
