#108360 - what about know-how
Responding to: Gopalakrishnan Narayanan's previous message
anybody can design a cheap knockoff of a commecial product, and most, if not all fail.

the reason:

design is one thing, know-how is another.

I have seen:
"there is no need for that expensive an op-amp"
"there is no need for a 4 layer board"
"I can do it with my slower processor, the code must be inefficient"
"who needs the supporting software on the PC"
and many more

all the above may be true in this case

Erik
