#108429 - Variations
Responding to: Erik Malund's previous message
Erik Malund said:
I have seen a resume stating "I developed" and when digging found out the correct phrase would be "I downloaded from the Internet and compiled"

There are many variation on this and also on the word design. They can mean:

  • Did the PCB layout

  • Purchased the components for

  • Built the prototype from a circuit

  • Worked on the project for its two weeks then moved onto something else.

  • Wrote one software module for

ad infinitum.

I always ask exactly what a candidate did in a development.
I always give candidates a selection of simple design tasks.
