#138471 - slowig down the bugger is not going to make it clo Responding to: Stefan Kanev's previous message |
slowing down the bugger is not going to make it clock better on a clock risetime that is way out of specs So we still need to remove the input capacitor or use a schmitt trigger..
I see what you suggest and, in combination with removing the capacitor on the clock, is an interesting idea, abeit that it will not work. The problem with your circuit (and no clock capacitor), is that if someone press the button, hold it for, say, 5 seconds, you will, on the release bounce, reverse the effect of the 'contact press'. So we are back with the capacitor on the input (and the schmitt trigger). So, since the schmitt trigger solves the problem and is required in any case, why add 'your' components. Anyhow, my compliments, for thinking of a 'theoritically better' solution. Erik |
