Yes, that's a Key Document that should be read by anyone needing to do anything with CRCs!


I've cited it here many times as www.repairfaq.org/filipg/LINK/F_crc_v3.html, but that link now seems to be broken.
On that site, it seems to have moved to http://www.repairfaq.org/filipg/LI...c_v31.html and searching for "Painless CRC" reveals many other copies.
