#173402 - Here's an interesting trouble
Good afternoon to all members:

My laptop will turn off after it get's hot some times other times will kept running when hot. I have Toshiba A35 S159 Mobile Intel (R) Pentuim (R) 4 Cpu 2.30 Ghz 480 Mb Ram Ms Xp Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2. I checked for viruses found none. So checked for boot up programs and disable all that I did not need on boot up. I should mention I had to remove the battery from computer as it was not charging so though it may have caused a problem and remove it for now. When computer does turn off you can not turn it on by pressing the power on button. It will turn on then shut down within 5 seconds. In order to start the pc again I must take barrel plug out of pc jack and reinsert it while power pack in wall outlet. Which is not correct way. You surposed to place the barrel plug in pc then plug the power pack in ac outlet. Also I should mention I went into safe mode and check whole pc out but found know problems with hardware. Any idea's what's going on? I cleaned inside of pc of all dust. Did not make a difference in the shutdown problem. This model is known to run very hot because of it 2.30 Ghz processor.

Best regards,

Ralph Sac
