#174064 - Current Measurement using Rogowski Coil
Hi guys,

I am new to this site and found out that it is really informative.
I could read some of the threads of this forum especially one which is #86526 My Rogowski Coil by Prahlad J. Purohit and Kai. I am also doing similar kind of research but the difference is that I am not planning to measure a welding current. The current range for my reasearch has been defined in 50A - 150A and is of like power consumption by a motor or a huge AHU. I would like to take up the circuit proposed by Kai using TL051 including the amplifier portion and have been decided to purchase one standard rogowski coil from LEM ( RT500 ) and @ frequency of 50Hz.

Do i need to change anything in that circuit to work with specification. The output of rogowski for my specific application won't be giving too much spikes I hope. So do I include such protecting scheme in front of the amplifier? Any extra clamping circuit is needed prior to ADC? To use a butterworth band pass filter after integrator and before Clamper with band frequency rang of 40Hz - 65Hz and gain of 2 is a right selection?

Is there any advantage of using differential amplifier in the case of rogowski?
