Yes and I even used DC/DC converter to power the GPS and optoisolatd its output signal...
At 2,4GHz the impedance of typical 3pF input to output stray capacitance of opto is about 20 Ohm. This looks more like a short circuit than isolation! The same is true for your DC/DC-converter.
At 2,4GHz it's hard to truly isolate something. And, to make it even worse, everything having a "length" becomes an antenna...
