A guy I ride with who has won stages of the Giro D'Italia can generate 450 Watts for 5-6 hours, these guys are monstrously fit, he drags me up and down huge hills every weekend a good club rider might manage it for 10 minutes, you might hit 480 in a balls out sprint.
The only problem is you need to know the gearing ratio,but you could possibly read it from the cable position. When an ex-professional decides to sprint,you kind of know about it ;-) |
