Interesting - the link shows a picture of what looks like a standard 9V alkaline battery and calls it rechargeable.

And then shows a circuit that requires 5V but the materials list don't have any 5V voltage regulator...

With obvious problems like this, there may be a couple of less visible problems with the linked project.
