#188392 - Redesigning the IC
Responding to: Richard Erlacher's previous message
It is for Jordanian air force which is same as US air force because it is us air force equipment.
The IC is 18 pin, looks like custom made it has pins placed at 300 mils while the IC package is 500 mils wide. it has 3 power supply pins +5, +15 and -15v, one START conversion i/p pin, one end of conversion (EOC) output pin, one clock pin and 8 data out pins.
I made an equivalent board same size using the internal ADC of a 14 pin PIC16F688 and shuffled the pins to match that of the original IC, programmed to emulate the IC and tested it stand alone and it worked ok, I will test it on the board and I hope it should work unless timing is critical which will require more work from my side.
