#188600 - Thanks Michael
Responding to: Michael Karas's previous message
You are absolutely right.

I have previously used simple timer methods to get the job done on the 8051's, however I'm trying to shift architectures to the ARM Cortex M3, Unfortunately I'm very familiar with the 8051 and the tools that I have to develop code here. So I was implementing the code as described on the '51 and then when it works, I'll know that I should be able to port it the M3 with little issue (I hope).

I don't intend to run it on the 51 forever. I have it all going though. and it is working really nicely on the 8051.

Thankyou for the comments.

Regards

Marshall
