Hi Joseph,

I think you addressed my concern directly. Yes its now clear ( to me that is ) that the MCB is there to protect the wiring from going up in flames and the SMPS has its own pretction to prevent itslef from going up in flames. We have in fact tried out the 2A / D-Type and so far all is well .
