Vault Information Services, creators of 8052.com, today announced the release of Pinnacle 52 version 1.050. This new version of Pinnacle builds on Pinnacle's existing functionality, but includes support for I2C bus simulation. Pinnacle users may now simulate 8052 programs which communicate with I2C devices. Specifically, Pinnacle supports the Dallas DS1307 RTC, Dallas DS1803 Dual Pot, and Microchip 24LC164 Serial EEPROM.
Pinnacle is a low-cost Integrated Development Environment (IDE) which includes an integrated editor, assembler, linker, and simulator. At just US$99, Pinnacle is one of the most economical IDEs for the 8052 developer.
