This allowed the customer to use Pinnacle 52 to simulate his custom 8052-based hardware. Approach Added support to Pinnacle 52 for Philips P89C52RD2+ microcontroller. Added support for simulation of I2C and SPI serial communication. Added simulation support for Dallas DS1307 real-time clock. Added suport for Dallas DS1803 Dual-POT. Added simulation of Philips PCF8533 LCD controller. Added support for serial EEPROM. Technology Modifications required changes to Pinnacle 52's IDE (written in Visual Basic) and to Pinnacle 52's run-time DLL (written in Visual C++). Craig Steiner's Role Sole designer and developer of the base Pinnacle 52 Integrated Develop Environment. Sole designer and implementer of the changes requested by the customer.
